Program Overview

Curriculum

The Persolv AI Bootcamp is a two part online AI bootcamp with 30+ hours of live instruction to expose students to fundamental AI concepts. Each session will be taught by a team of Stanford University graduate students, lecturers, and teaching assistants, and students will receive a personalized learning experience with student-teacher ratios of 5:1. Our curriculum was vetted and created with the help of Stanford faculty. During Part 1 of the program, students will gain a broad foundation of current AI applications and techniques through short lectures and accompanying exercises. In Part 2, scholars will be guided through more advanced topics as well as research paper writing workshops to complete their own socially impactful project. At the end, students will not only have a robust understanding of Python, but also be mentored by instructors and Stanford affiliates to create their own personal research project for publication.

Eligibility for Professional Python Certification (PCEP). Learn common Python data structures and AI packages to develop a strong computational foundation to set the base for working on your own ideas.

A rigorous understanding on how linear regression works and its everyday uses. Code your first machine learning model and discover the likelihood of getting into your dream college using your own AI application!

A complete overview of computer vision algorithms and modern day applications in autonomous driving. Discover how Tesla and Waymo push the boundaries of self-driving forward before building your own AI model to detect cancer.

You will Gain:

Guidance from BOTH your instructor and Persolv mentors to help you complete and publish your own research project in a peer-reviewed academic journal. A capstone project to not only test what you've learned, but deepen your understanding.

Prerequisites

No prior coding or computer science background is required. Students with prior experience will have the option of being placed in an an advanced cohort.

Research Project

The Research Project is a landmark component of Part 2. Students will work with Stanford and industry affiliated mentors on a socially-good driven project in their area of interest. We will cover proper techniques on how to write a research publication and eligible students can submit their research project for publication into peer-reviewed academic journals to strengthen their research repertoire for future industry and academic/college applications.
